Maybe you knew, maybe you didn’t: I have a thing with numbers. Love them, I loved math in ‘highschool’ and it still is my favorite thing to teach. I see patterns in numbers everywhere, and ‘beautiful’ numbers can make me happy. Yes, there it is. You can all run away now.

So, I had to do something with that, right? I started with some HUGE numbers, came up with a matching kit and solids. Then I came across something called ‘inchies’. Have you heard about them? Check here and here for examples! I had to do something like that, so I created a pack full of 2 inch squares (see, twinchies ) and I still wasn’t done with this project! Always stay on the sunny side of life! This kit made me think about the end of Summer, which is getting near, but I hope we will have lots of sunny days left before Fall kicks in. I’m SO not ready for that!!

I was inspired by the lavender blooming in our front yard, and this months colors reminded me of that flower. Don’t you just love the smell of lavender?

So I created a solid and a patterned paperpack, with lovely purples, blues and a touch of yellow.

Off course, I had to pick some lavender and extract it. In fact, that little flower is still laying on top of my iMac, and sometimes I stop and have to smell it

Ugh, what a day to get sick! I’ve been out of it all day yesterday, just feeling yucky, nothing specific. A HUGE headache, feeling sick to my stomach and I slept hours and hours.
