Happy birthday to Leonie! It was a lovely day, as she celebrated her 4th birthday, and she was SO tired tonight she fell asleep instantly. That almost never happens!! Maybe it was the Disney princess Barbie doll lying next to her We had company throughout the day and ‘diner’ at McDonalds as she requested. I have one day of work tomorrow, and will be home on Tuesday and Wednesday. Can’t wait for that little weekend during the week LOL

Somehow I found time to design, and I created a freebie mini-kit for the Designer Apprentice contest. I such a sucker for contests, so I just had to play in this one! I can only hope I’ll have enough time to crank out the kits untill I’m eliminated…

I was supposed to design something inspired by SUMMER. That was the only given assignment, and this is what I did. I thought of what Summer meant to me and was suddenly humming ‘This is where I want to be, La Isla Bonita’. Can you believe that? Then I spent all this time avoiding anything cheesy like the Madonna song LOL

Let me take you back to 4 years ago. We weren’t parents yet. We went to bed, not knowing that the next day, we would have a little baby girl in our arms! Tomorrow we will celebrate Leonies 4th birthday, and in The Netherlands that will mean the start of school. Of course the schoolyear already started, and she was allowed to start 2 weeks early, so she’s adapted to that. Today we had a little party too, cause Leonies best friend turned 4. It’s amazing those girls only are one day apart and are such good friends! She of course will be a special guest to our party tomorrow

Ah well, we’re going to have lots of fun in September, hopefully it will make up for the change of season that I dread… Here it goes!

First of all: I plan on blogging every day throughout September. Yes, you read that right. If you subscribed to my rss feed, like I suggested here, you WILL get spammed. Sorry. But I promise to make it worth your while, ok? It will not all be digiscrap related, but most of it will, and there will be give aways and freebies. So make sure you check back every day!! There will be more exciting news in September, one of them being a change in the new release day. While we now release new stuff on Mondays, we will be doing it on Fridays starting September. And that means that after Monday Aug 30th, you only have to wait a few days for new releases on Friday September 3rd! WOOT!
